Many of God’s people are expecting Him to do something in the future that He has already done. They think in terms of “someday.” Someday I’ll be blessed. Someday I’ll be forgiven. Someday I’ll be healed.
“Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord.” Isaiah 1:18
What are you hoping for? He has already done it!
In Matthew 9:20 a woman had been suffering for twelve years from hemorrhaging. She pressed through the crowd and said within herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.” She didn’t think maybe someday or another. She pressed past her fears of disappointment. She broke through all of the taboo of tradition.
We are not called to be passive believers hoping for a better day. We are called to press past unbelief and receive what God has promised.
Merriam-Webster defines now as at the present time or moment. Press into the moment. Press into the NOW of God. We can rest assured that what we are hoping for will happen. The Bible says, “NOW FAITH is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1
Jesus said in Mark 11:24, ″ Whatsoever things ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
