Faith Over Fear

In a world that sometimes feels confusing and overwhelming, it’s comforting to remember this: God is not the author of confusion. Those who’ve done great things for their faith through history didn’t focus on their weaknesses or limitations—they focused on how big their God is. Instead of saying, “I’m too old” or “I’m not enough,” they trusted in God’s power to make the impossible happen.

Today, we might feel like we’re facing some of the darkest times imaginable, but that’s also when God’s light shines the brightest. Great victories come from great battles, and now is our chance to step up with faith and courage. To stand against darkness and hold onto hope is to become part of something bigger than ourselves—it’s a chance to be among the champions of faith.

But let’s not forget what our faith calls us to do: love and support others. Religious freedom doesn’t give us a license to look down on anyone. Proverbs reminds us of this: if we despise our neighbors, we lack wisdom, but those who are kind and gracious will find happiness. Pure faith isn’t about imposing our beliefs on others; it’s about caring for those in need, like orphans and widows, and living with integrity.

Ultimately, our victory doesn’t come from being strong, young, or even highly skilled—it comes from believing in the God who can do the impossible. He uses the weak to surprise the strong and the simple to outshine the wise. All He asks is for us to put our trust in Him and not give up. The path isn’t easy, but if we keep our eyes on Him, we will not fail.

So, take heart. This is your moment to live out your faith, demonstrate love, and see just how powerful God truly is. Let’s rise to the challenge together.

Blessings,

Minister A. Francine Green
