Sometimes, people claim to speak on behalf of God, yet their words may not actually reflect His will. This happened in the past. Stories like 1 Kings 22 and Jeremiah 28 demonstrate instances where false prophets pretended to deliver messages from God. However, He had not spoken to them.
But here’s the thing: true change and transformation only happen when someone genuinely shares what God has revealed. Imagine having a cure for a disease but keeping it to yourself—no one would benefit! In the same way, if God’s wisdom is kept hidden, it can’t reach the people who need it the most. This means that misunderstandings, superstitions, or harmful behaviors might continue simply because people haven’t heard the truth.
A real prophet is someone willing to step up and share God’s message, even when it’s hard or unpopular. Their role is vital because they act as a bridge, helping others understand what God wants. Without honest messengers, the opportunity for growth, learning, and positive change is lost.
So, the key takeaway is this: when it comes to sharing God’s word, authenticity and courage matter. Only when the truth is communicated openly can it have the power to guide, heal, and transform lives.
