Unity and Equality: Simple Truths About Our Human Family

Why Racial Disharmony Is Not from God

Have you ever stopped to wonder why the world sometimes feels so divided? Why people argue and fight over things like race, language, or where someone comes from? It’s easy to look at all the differences and forget that, deep down, we’re much more alike than we think.

Let’s start with something important: Satan, or the enemy of our souls, is called the “deceiver of the whole world.” That means his main trick is to fool people. He mixes up the truth so we turn against each other. This especially happens over things like race or background. When we see people treating each other unfairly or causing trouble because of race, we know that isn’t God’s way. God intends for us to treat each other with fairness. God never meant for us to be divided like that.

The Bible gives us a really clear answer in Acts 17:26. “From one man, he made all the nations. They should inhabit the whole earth. He marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.” In simple words, this means everyone on earth comes from the same starting point. We all have the same roots. We are one big human family, even if we look, sound, or live differently.

God made all people. He gave us life, breath, and everything we need. He isn’t far away or hard to reach. He’s closer than we think—always ready to help, guide, and love us. He made every nation and set up the world. We can live in different places at different times. We always have a reason to look for him and find our true purpose.

So, what does that mean for us today? It means that nobody is better or more important than anyone else. It doesn’t matter what color our skin is, what language we speak, or where we were born. Those things make us unique, but they don’t make us unequal. Each of us has value. Each of us deserves kindness and respect.

When we understand this, we can defeat the lies that try to tear us apart. We don’t have to fall for the enemy’s tricks. We know the truth: we are all connected. We are all part of one family. God wants us to live in unity, to look past our differences, and see each other with love.

Next time you meet someone who seems different, remember: you’re both made by the same Creator. You’re both worthy of love, respect, and kindness. We may not look or sound the same, but our hearts are designed by God just the same. Let’s choose to see each other as family—not as strangers or rivals.

We live as God intended when we stand together in unity and love. We refuse to let racism or hate divide us. We become stronger, more peaceful, and more joyful. And that’s how we defeat the real enemy—by choosing love over division, and unity over hate.

In the simplest terms: We all come from the same roots. That makes us all equal. Let’s treat each other with respect, kindness, and love—just as God treats us.
