A Simple Perspective on Bold and Steady Faith
Walking by faith isn’t about crossing your fingers and hoping for the best. It’s not about luck or chance—it’s about being confident in God’s faithfulness, even when things don’t make sense.
Let’s be honest: it takes real determination and faith to succeed in life. Sometimes, when challenges come, it can feel like everything is working against you. But the test you’re facing isn’t meant to destroy you—it’s meant to prove how strong your vision and faith really are.
The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:21 (KJV): “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.” This means that as we go through life, our faith will be tested, and we need to hold tightly to what is good and true.
Think of the story of Abraham and Isaac. Abraham’s trust in God was put to the ultimate test, but he pressed on with obedience, showing us what real faith looks like. God already knows what’s in your heart, but sometimes these tests help us see it for ourselves.
Here’s something encouraging: Jesus said if we have faith as small as a mustard seed, we can move mountains. In other words, it’s not the size of your faith that matters, but who your faith is in—God.
Some things in life are simply out of our control. Only God can change a human heart or transform a rebellious child. There are situations where all we can do is trust and let God do what only God can do.
So relax—let God be God. You don’t have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. Accept with grace the things you cannot change and trust that God’s power and love have no limits.
When you walk by faith, you’re not wandering aimlessly. You’re moving forward with bold conviction, knowing that God is faithful and that you’re never alone on the journey.
