Why Spiritual Clarity Matters in a World of Unrest
Have you ever felt like things happening around you just don’t make sense? Maybe you watch the news or see conflict between nations, races, or groups, and wonder why it’s all so chaotic. If you feel lost, confused, or unable to understand what’s unfolding right before your eyes, you’re not alone. Many people feel disconnected—from each other, and from something even greater: God and the word of truth.
What Does It Mean to Be Disconnected from God?
Being disconnected from God is like trying to find your way in the dark without a flashlight. When we lose touch with the Creator—who made all nations and every person on earth—we lose the anchor that helps us make sense of life. God created us with unique qualities and a shared dignity, no matter where we’re from or what we look like. But when we forget this, we can feel divided and alone, struggling to understand ourselves, others, and the world.
The Importance of the Word of Truth
The word of truth—found in the Bible and in Jesus’s teachings—acts like a guiding light. It helps us see what’s really happening and why. For example, Jesus warned that before the end times, “nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.” These conflicts aren’t just between countries, but also between groups, races, and peoples. When we’re disconnected from God’s word, we might miss these signs or misunderstand their meaning.
Why Can’t We Discern What’s Unfolding?
When we’re out of touch with God and spiritual truth, it’s hard to recognize the deeper reasons behind the conflicts and chaos we see. We might see wars, unrest, and division, but not realize they’re part of a bigger picture—a sign that things are changing and that we need to pay attention. Jesus described these events as “birth pains,” meaning they’re not the end, but signals that something new is coming.
Rediscovering Connection and Clarity
To see clearly, we need to reconnect with God and His word. This doesn’t mean we’ll have all the answers right away, but it gives us wisdom and peace to face uncertainty. When we remember that everyone is made in God’s image—each person a reflection of His creativity—we see the value in unity, respect, and love. Just like the Korean eagle soaring high, we can rise above division when we embrace our true identity as God’s creation.
Hope for a Divided World
Even in times of conflict, there’s hope. God’s promise is that we’re all part of His design, meant to uplift and honor one another. If we reconnect with Him and seek His truth, we’ll find understanding and strength to navigate what’s happening around us. Let’s choose to see each other with compassion, and remember that at the heart of every nation is the image of God—a legacy we all share.
