· Humility and Contrition: God values those who are humble—people who admit their faults and are truly sorry for their mistakes. He promises to help and comfort those who have a contrite spirit.
· Active Application: It’s not enough to just read the Bible or listen to sermons. We need to believe what God says and make changes in our lives based on His instructions.
Why Is This Important?
“Trembling at His word” means we reject being careless or rebellious toward God’s instructions. Instead, we choose to align ourselves with His will, trusting that He loves us and wants what’s best for us.

Both God’s mercy and justice are revealed through His word. When we tremble at His word, we experience His kindness and see how He sets things right. This attitude brings lasting joy, peace, and strength for anyone who chooses to follow Him wholeheartedly.
