Becoming a Spiritual House and Holy Priesthood

Hey everyone, welcome to today’s episode! Are you curious about what it means to be a “spiritual house” or a “holy priesthood”? You’re in the right place. We’re diving into 1 Peter 2:4–8, exploring how these ancient words offer powerful insight for our lives today.

Peter’s message is all about Jesus—the “living stone”—rejected by people but chosen and precious to God. Imagine a building where every stone matters: Jesus is the cornerstone, holding everything together. If you trust Him, you’ll never be let down; if you don’t, you may stumble like tripping over an unexpected stone.

But what does this mean for us? The passage says we’re “living stones” too. When we come to Jesus, we become part of a spiritual house—a vibrant community filled with God’s Spirit. The church isn’t just a building; it’s a living, breathing temple made up of people who believe and belong.

Stick around as we break down these verses in simple terms, uncovering how they invite us to embrace our role in God’s family and live out our faith every day!
