“Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed. You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols. Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:1-3)
Concerning Spiritual Gifts
The Apostle Paul did not want the Church of Corinth to be ignorant concerning the spiritual gifts given to the church for the work of service in God’s Kingdom. As many are believing and preparing in anticipation of a great harvest of souls, the church also needs to be equipped to receive the harvest.
The church will never reach its fullest potential or unity until all five ministry gifts (Eph. 4:11-13) are functioning together, and the church has been equipped with the gifts of the Spirit in (Rom. 12, 1 Cor. 12). The harvest workers must be equipped if we are to bring forth fruit worthy of our King.
Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Just as we are praying for the harvest, the church should be praying and equipping workers for the coming harvest” (Matt 9:37-38).
On February 23, 2019, a group of 60,000 believers led by Lou Engle of the Call gathered in Orlando. FL to take action to see a new era of missions and evangelism. An event known as The Send, A collaboration of national ministries that hope to activate every believer into their evangelistic calling. What a powerful outpouring of believers.
The Send is calling every believer to take action. So far 16,656 have committed to fasting, 2,145 commitments to reaching High Schools, 1,878 committed to Universities, 4,134 committed to reaching their neighborhood, and 482 have responded to the gospel. [1]

”As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen” (1 Peter 4:10-11 English Standard Version (ESV)).
