Some of you may be at a very low ebb (a low point), wondering when things will get better. Trust me I understand how you feel. “However, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 2:9, “no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love him.”
Our natural eyes can deceive us during challenging times while waiting for God to come through on our behalf. Hebrews 11:1-3 (TPT) is a remarkable spiritual truth of living by faith in challenging times. It reads, “Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen. This testimony of faith is what previous generations were commended for. Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinated by the power of God’s words! He spoke and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen.”
Faith brings about what we are hoping for. It is the confirmation of what is not seen at the present time, yet we continue to hope with certainty that God will bring it to pass. In spite of the challenges and disappointments I’ve experienced over the years, I know in my heart that God’s plan is perfect and better than anything I can conjure up on my own.
Without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. We come to Him in faith knowing that He is real and that He rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking Him.
By faith Noah’s heart was opened to receive revelation and warnings from God about what was coming, even things that had never been seen. Believing what God revealed to him about the coming flood, he stepped out in reverent obedience to God and built an ark that would save him and his family. By Noah’s faith the world was condemned, but Noah received God’s gift of righteousness that comes by believing.
God makes us into who He sees us to be. Faith and obedience in what He brings hope into reality. Scripture says, “Faith motivated Abraham to obey God’s call and leave the familiar to discover the territory he was destined to inherit from God” (Heb. 11:8). What an inspiration!
Everything depends upon our believing God. We can approach Him at anytime cling tightly to the hope that lives within us, knowing that God always keeps His promises We are to persevere in faith with confidence. We can hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, because God is faithful.
James 1:2-4 encourages us to “Consider it pure joy, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides, because we know that the testing of our faith produces perseverance. We are told to let perseverance finish its work so that we may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
If you don’t know what to do or lack wisdom, pray and ask God boldly believing without a second thought, the One who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. Hallelujah, God does not find fault with us when we are going through difficult trials. Just remember when you ask, you must believe and not doubt. The one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
God is requiring His people who are called by His name to come up higher. Refuse to be limited by soulish thinking that keeps you fluctuating between faith and fear. All things are possible to us in God. God Himself will strengthen you. God wants us to manifest His divine plan on earth. The joy of the Lord can be so manifested in us as we persevere through our trials.
