In life, there are people, events, situations and circumstances that will challenge your very existence. When you grieve, mourn or experience pain or despair this is the cry of the soul. Even if you attempt to hide it or pretend it doesn’t exist, it is there. The good news is God hears every cry of the soul.
Whatever state you are in for whatever reason, prayer, spending time in the Word and spending time in God’s presence are a source of great comfort, healing and guidance for the weary soul.
Turning to Him is the answer for every cry of the soul. David cried out “My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.” (Psalm 84:2)
In the midst of what seems like unbearable suffering we can experience God’s grace, peace and hope for the future in ways we could never imagine. The Lord is “able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, “ Ephesians 3:20-21
