“At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken–that is, created things–so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.” –Hebrews 12:26-29
I often say this and reiterate it here: we must discern and understand the times and seasons we are living so that we know what to do. There is a shifting, shaking, and unsettling taking place throughout the Church and around the world. God is preparing to reform and restore divine order to His Church. Through the voice of His prophets, He is calling His people — the Church to realign with His Kingdom purposes.
Apostle Paul instructed the Church in Romans 12:2, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” The Passion Translation renders it, “Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.:
“Do not conform” or “Stop imitating” is difficult advice in a generation when crowd pressures have conditioned our minds and feet to move to the rhythmic drumbeat of the status quo.
As Christians, our lives should be conformed to the Word of Truth, and not to the Spirit of the Age (pattern of this world)! It is possible to be religious and not to have forsaken the world at all.
In these turbulent times. There is an agreement among prophetic leaders that a great shaking is taking in the earth. I believe that God is preparing to do something far greater than what we have ever witnessed before. But it means that we must set our houses in order making sure that we are walking and living in alignment with His will based upon the solid foundation of spiritual truth.
“It wasn’t that long ago that you lived in the religion, customs, and values of this world, obeying the dark ruler of the earthly realm who fills the atmosphere with his authority, and works diligently in the hearts of those who are disobedient to the truth of God. The corruption that was in us from birth was expressed through the deeds and desires of our self – life. We lived by whatever natural cravings and thoughts our minds dictated, living as rebellious children subject to God’s wrath like everyone else.” –Ephesians 2:2-3 TPT
Isaiah 33:6 says, “He will be your constant source of stability in changing times, and out of his abundant love he gives you the riches of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. Yes, the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure! The New International Version says, “the sure foundation for your times”
The prophet Haggai recorded four messages to the Jewish people of Jerusalem, eighteen years after their return from exile in Babylon. He was more than seventy years old by the time he delivered his prophecies. From these facts, the picture of Haggai begins to come into focus. He was an older man looking back on the glories of his nation, a prophet inspired with a passionate desire to see his people rise up from the ashes of exile and reclaim their rightful place as God’s light to the nations.
It is time for the Church of Jesus Christ to awaken from her slumber, arise and take her place as God’s light to the nations!
God loves you and stay safe!
