“Whenever you see a cloud rising in the west, you immediately say, ‘A shower is coming,’ and so it turns out. And whenever you feel a south wind blowing, you say, ‘It will be a hot day,’ and it turns out that way. You hypocrites! You know how to analyze the appearance of the earth and the sky, but how is it that you do not know how to analyze this present time? Luke 12:54-56
What’s lacking in the body of Christ today is spiritual discernment.
Spiritual discernment gives one the ability to know and be informed of what is happening in the spiritual realm. In this time of uncertainty the enemy will attempt to cloud our spiritual vision and defuse our discernment. In Luke Chapter 12, Jesus spoke to the crowd gathered around Him about their in ability to discern the times. He said, “Whenever you see a cloud rising in the west, you immediately say, ‘A shower is coming,’ and so it turns out. And whenever you feel a south wind blowing, you say, ‘It will be a hot day,’ and it turns out that way. You hypocrites! You know how to analyze the appearance of the earth and the sky, but how is it that you do not know how to analyze this present time.
In this video I talk about the importance of discerning the present times we live in light of the gospel message the church is commissioned to preach (Matthew 24:24).
