“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Mercy and truth go before You.” Psalm 89:14
Years ago the Lord said to me, “Your voice matters!” At times I’ve experienced a spirit of intimidation, fear, confusion coming against my voice and what I am called to ‘herald. I now understand that this has been an opportunity for the Lord to teach me the power of His voice over other voices. There is no other voice greater than His voice! This understanding has given me a ‘deeper’ awakening that is increasing of WHO it is that is speaking to me. A boldness to speak what He is speaking and what’s on His heart with conviction and fire. A boldness to not bow to fear or the fear of man, but to speak His truth in love. Speaking what is on His heart. It’s stepping into new territories that go against the grain.
“Because of You, I know the path of life, as I taste the fullness of joy in Your presence. At Your right side I experience divine pleasures forevermore!” (Ps.16:11 TPT)
My assignment from the Lord is to be a prophetic voice empowered by the Spirit of God in wisdom, revelation and insight sharing the Father’s heart and the uncompromised truth of God’s Word in the areas of injustice spiritual awakening, reclaiming authentic Christianity, righteousness, revival and reformation of the church, and Biblical justice. It’s like stepping into murky waters, yet I TRUST the Lord for wisdom and insight into the heart of God for humanity.
“Wisdom and might are with Him;
Advice and understanding belong to Him“… “Strength and sound wisdom are with Him” … “He reveals mysteries from the darkness, And brings the deep darkness into light” (Job 12:13, 16, 22).
I am deeply humbled as a Believer in the power of God to be given this opportunity to be a voice crying in the wilderness on behalf of my King. I say this with humility. The outcome is unknown, I leave that in the hands of the Lord. God has a time for His perfect will to be manifested in the earth. I do believe He is restoring righteousness in the earth and will be the One to bring justice to the ongoing injustice in America whether it is political, racial, poverty, opioid crisis and more. “Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute,” (Psalm 82:3). “Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, and please the widow’s cause,” (Isaiah 1:17).
“God takes His position in His assembly; He judges in the midst of the gods. How long will you judge unjustly And show partiality to the wicked? Selah Vindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute.Rescue the weak and needy; Save them from the hand of the wicked. They do not know nor do they understand. They walk around in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are shaken” (Ps. 82:1-6).
“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” “In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.”
Dr. Martin L. King Jr.
As I was preparing to write about prophets and justice and racism in America, several timely words came to me via an email from Dr. Frank Damazio’s ministry (Taking Up Your Mantle) and a video (Divine Justice and New Angelic Assignments) from Paul Keith Davis of White Dove Ministries.
They are timely because in 2017 I was given a prophetic word that shook me to the core and still does to this very day,
“Do you have like a justice calling on you? So, I’m seeing this angel with you like with those justice scales in its hand . . . I just see this anointing for rendering justice and for being a righteous judge . . . so we just thank you that you have assigned this angel to her and that she is going to have divine wisdom, divine strategies . . . you are going to just like measure things out and it’s just going to be . . . people may not like everything that you do, but they will say it’s fair . . . and the angel is actually putting a justice mantle across your shoulders . . . and I also see that you are going to need to learn to partner with this angelic realm . . . it’s kind of like a new thing for you . . . and so I just release that your vision is acclimate . . . the angel is working with you . . I pray Lord that you would expand her vision . . . her perception . . . that she would not just rely on her brain . . . give her the perception she has been praying for . . . you will know when justice is served . . .”
God desires to do greater things with each succeeding generation, so each new generation must seek the Lord for the mantle of the Holy Spirit and it’s own empowerment.
Dr. Frank Damazio, Taking Up Your Mantle
God has more than just a plan for your life–He has a divine purpose. God never grants someone an assignment without giving him or her the ability to complete it. In Taking Up The Mantle Dr. Damazio says, “I believe every person has a mantle to pick up and wear according to the will of God. Your mantle is yours alone. It doesn’t belong to anybody else.” Dr. Damazio said there are two ways a mantle can come to you. The first is straight from God to the person by His Holy Spirit. The second is through mentors and disciplers. God uses a mentoring process. 1
WHAT IS A MANTLE?
Mantle in Hebrew is addereth , which comes from the root word adar. From adar, we get two words. The first is addir, which means “majestic, superior to something else, mighty, noble, or principal”. The second, addiyr, is translated “wide or large of power, excellent, famous, mighty, noble, worthy, or a large, roomy garment. It was the cape or the wrapper garment.” Addereth is translated “glory, cloak, splendor, magnificent, mantle”. It was a prophet’s garment: glorious, powerful, noble, and worthy.
GOD OF JUSTICE
Yahweh is a God of justice. When I think of having a mantle for justice or being a righteous judge, I think of the Old Testament prophets Amos, Hosea, Isaiah, Micah, Jeremiah, Zephaniah, and Ezekiel.
“The things that horrified the prophets are even now daily occurrences all over the world.”
Abraham Heschel, The Prophets2
When I look at the state of the world today, especially within America, my heart cringes to see the injustices that many people face on a daily basis. I am convince that God will render justice to the plight of black and brown people. Why do I believe this? As I was researching for this message I came across a a phrase I did not understand. It was “tyranny of the familiar.” So as always I began to search for clarity and understanding which led me to White Dove Ministries under the leadership of Paul Keith Davis who I have followed and learn from over a number of years. There on the ministry’s website was a video titled “Divine Justice and New Angelic Assignments.” This was a confirmation of the prophetic word given to me in 2017 (see above). The key takeaways for me was that justice will be the central theme, angels will be assigned, and new model forerunner ministries will be raise up in this new season.1 God has a time for His perfect will to be manifested in the earth.
Arise, God, judge the earth! For You possess all the nations.
Psalm 82:8
In the magnificent words of Amos, “But let justice roll out like waters, And righteousness like an ever-flowing stream” (Amos 5:24).
Blessings,
Minister A. Francine Green
