A Reflection on Divine Revelation and Our Present Age
As God has graciously given me the insight reflected in many of my writings, I often find myself looking back in awe over the revelations that have illuminated my understanding. These moments of clarity convince me, again and again, that God is unceasing in His calling—inviting His children into an ever-deepening walk with Him. His desire is not merely for distant admiration, but for close fellowship and attentive hearts willing to hear His voice.
Today, we serve and worship the same God who spoke to His people throughout the ages. God is still speaking to His children everywhere and in every generation! He longs for each of us to give Him our full attention—to make room in our lives to listen, to receive, and to respond. The challenges and complexities that we face in our world today are not meant to be shouldered through human strength alone; in fact, God does not intend for us to rely on ourselves. Our sufficiency is found only in Him.
As Scripture declares, “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee” (Isaiah 60:2). Although gross darkness seems to be spreading over the peoples of the earth, the children of God need not fear or despair. For those who turn their faces upward in faith and hope, there are visible streams of celestial glory—beams of light shining from the promise of a “new heaven and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness” (2 Peter 3:13). These streams of glory remind us that God’s purposes will prevail, and His light will never be extinguished, even in the darkest of times.
Let us, then, respond to God’s ongoing call. Let us listen, seek deeper communion, and walk forward in the assurance that He is with us, guiding us by revelation and hope, until all things are made new.
