Many of God’s people do not truly know or study the word. As a result, they become vulnerable to teachings that distort the gospel. These messages promise prosperity or worldly success but lack the biblical foundation of Christ’s sacrificial love and redemptive purpose. Without a deep and personal understanding of Scripture, believers can easily mistake these false gospels for truth. This risks spiritual confusion. They miss out on the authentic freedom and hope found only in the real message of Jesus. It is crucial for every follower of Christ to engage with Scripture. By grounding themselves in its wisdom, they can discern truth from error. This helps them stay steadfast in their faith.
