Understanding What Christ Has Done for Us

Revealed truth simply means what God has clearly shown to us through His Word and through Jesus Christ. This truth changes how we see everything and how we live. When we understand what God has done, we can live by faith.

The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ came to earth and experienced death for everyone. He did not just “taste” death like tasting a food and then turning away. Instead, He fully experienced death so that all people could be saved. Although we do not see everything in the world under Christ’s control yet, we can see what He has already done—He was born, lived as a human, died, rose again, and now saves those who believe in Him.

There are people who are truly changed, forgiven, and made new by Jesus. These people make up what the Bible calls the “true Church.” Even though we do not see everything finished, we look to Jesus and trust, by faith, that God will one day put everything under His rule.

Faith means seeing what has not yet happened as if it has already happened. Real faith leads us to live differently. If we say we believe something but do not act like it, then we do not really believe it. But if we truly believe that Jesus saves and will return to make all things right, we will start living as if that is true.

As believers, we are called to line up our lives with our faith. We trust that God will one day make everything new—a new heaven and a new earth where everything is right. While we wait, we keep our eyes on Jesus, who is now honored at God’s right hand and will come back to reign over all.

Let’s let the truth change the way we live, use our time and talents, and even our money, so that everything is ready for the day Jesus returns. When we obey this revealed truth, our hearts are prepared to worship God and enjoy being close to Him.

May we always remember: Real faith is not just words, but living out what we believe. Let’s be ready for the day when Jesus comes and God makes everything right!
