See What God Sees
When life feels confusing, it is easy to feel overwhelmed. News headlines, cultural shifts, and personal struggles can all blur our vision. But in moments like these, we need God’s perspective most. We may not see the full picture, but He does. His truth remains steady, and His wisdom gives us peace, clarity, and hope.
When the Nation Shifts
For many believers, 2016 felt like more than a political moment. It felt like a turning point. The season stirred concern, deep emotion, and serious questions about the future of the country.
I remember that season clearly. As division grew, I kept asking God to help me stay grounded. In the middle of the noise, I sensed Him saying, Look higher. Trust Me. I am still in control.
Prayer taught me an important lesson: it is easy to be swept up by fear, frustration, and public opinion. But God is not moved by trends or politics. His truth does not change, and His voice is still the one we need most.
Stand on Scripture
Scripture speaks clearly when life feels uncertain. Proverbs 14 reminds us that what seems right in human eyes is not always right before God. That truth humbles us and calls us to seek His wisdom instead of relying only on ourselves.
Romans 8 reminds us that present pain is not the end of the story. The world may be groaning, but God is still working. The hope ahead is greater than the struggle we face now.
Psalm 89:14 points us back to God’s character: righteous, just, merciful, and true. These are the foundations of His throne, and they should shape how we pray, discern, and respond in difficult times.
Vote with Discernment
For people of faith, voting is not a casual act. It is one way we live out our values and steward our responsibility in society. Our choices carry both social and spiritual weight. Voting for righteousness is not about party loyalty. It is about prayerfully supporting what is true, just, and good for all. In a divided culture, that means remembering that our highest allegiance belongs to God alone.
Choose Unity
Recent years have revealed deep division in both the nation and the church. It is easy to sort ourselves into camps. But Jesus prayed for unity, and that call still stands.
Division hardens hearts, damages relationships, and weakens our witness. But humility, prayer, and reconciliation make room for healing. Unity does not require agreement on everything. It requires love, truth, and a willingness to walk together.
Return to God
Difficult seasons can become wake-up calls. Unrest and uncertainty often reveal where we have drifted and invite us back to prayer, repentance, and obedience.
God often uses conviction, prayer, and opportunities to serve as reminders to return to Him. These moments are not interruptions. They are invitations to walk in truth and shine with hope.
Hold Fast to Truth
In uncertain times, God’s wisdom is enough. He is faithful to guide us through confusion, conflict, and change. Scripture remains a sure foundation for the days we are living in right now.
So let us stay anchored in faith, pursue unity, and seek God’s perspective in every season. Let us pray for our nation, stand for what is right, and move forward with humility and hope. No matter how uncertain the future feels, God’s truth still stands.
