As Christians living in today’s world, we’re constantly faced with choices. Every day, we see messages from the culture around us—on social media, in movies, at work, and even among friends. Sometimes, these messages encourage values and behaviors that don’t line up with what God teaches in the Bible.

So, what do we do? We have to make a decision: Will we live according to God’s standards, or will we go along with what’s popular and easy in today’s culture?

Living by God’s standards means:

• Treating others with kindness and respect, even when it’s hard.

• Being honest, even if everyone else is cutting corners.

• Standing up for what’s right, even if it’s not the “cool” thing to do.

• Putting God first, even when other things seem more important.

Living by today’s culture often means:

• Doing whatever feels good in the moment.

• Following the crowd, even if it leads us away from what’s right.

• Focusing on ourselves instead of others.

• Ignoring God’s guidance because it seems old-fashioned.

The truth is, it’s not always easy to choose God’s way. Sometimes, it feels like we’re swimming against the current. But God promises to help us, and He gives us strength to make the right choices.

In the end, the way we live matters—not just for ourselves, but for those around us. When we choose God’s standards, we show others what real love, hope, and faith look like.

So, as Christians, let’s make the choice every day to live according to God’s righteous standards. It’s a decision that shapes our lives and makes a difference in the world.
