Lord, when I think about justice as love, I am reminded that Your justice flows from Your heart. You are not distant from pain, blind to wrong, or unmoved by suffering. Your Word says that You are love, and because of that, Your justice is holy, compassionate, and true. Teach me to see justice not only as something that happens in courts or laws, but as love made visible in the way I treat others.
Jesus, You showed what justice looks like when it is shaped by love. You noticed the overlooked, touched the rejected, welcomed sinners, healed the hurting, and spoke truth to those who misused power. You did not ignore sin, but You also did not crush the broken. Your love restored people, called them to repentance, and invited them into new life.
This truth searches my heart. It reminds me that I cannot say I love You while closing my eyes to the needs around me. Open my eyes to the hungry, the lonely, the mistreated, the poor, and the person whose voice is not being heard. Forgive me for the times I have been silent when I should have spoken, comfortable when I should have served, or proud when I should have shown mercy.
Help me practice justice as love in small, faithful ways. Let me listen before I judge. Give me courage to speak up when someone is treated unfairly. Make me generous when I see a need. Teach me to forgive without excusing harm, to tell the truth without cruelty, and to make things right when I have done wrong. Let my actions reflect the mercy and righteousness of Christ.
Lord, form in me a heart that loves what You love and grieves over what breaks Your heart. Let my pursuit of justice never become cold, prideful, or self-righteous. Fill it with compassion, humility, courage, and truth. If justice is love in action, then make my life an offering of love that protects, restores, heals, and points others to You. Amen.
