Life can be hard sometimes. We face sickness, stress, fear, pain, and problems we do not know how to fix. But there is good news: Jesus Christ is not only our Savior. He is also our Healer and Deliverer. We can bring every burden to Him. Isaiah 53:5 says that by His wounds we are healed. Matthew 8:17 says Jesus took our sicknesses and carried our diseases.
When Jesus lived on earth, many hurting people came to Him. He did not turn them away. He healed sick people, opened blind eyes, gave strength to weak bodies, and set people free from evil spirits. Matthew 4:24 says people brought the sick and suffering to Jesus, and He healed them. Luke 4:18 says Jesus came to bring good news, freedom, healing, and deliverance.
The news about Jesus spread far and wide. People heard about His power and His love. They brought Him people with many kinds of sickness and pain. Some were troubled in their minds. Some were weak in their bodies. Some were controlled by evil spirits. These were very hard situations, but Jesus healed them. He showed that He has power over sickness, pain, and evil.
Here is something we can hold on to: Jesus cares about every part of us. Sometimes we need healing in our bodies. Sometimes we need healing in our hearts. Sometimes we need freedom in our minds or spirits. Whatever we need, Jesus is able to help us. Psalm 147:3 says God heals the brokenhearted and cares for their wounds. John 8:36 says that if the Son sets us free, we will truly be free.
So if you feel weak today, call on Jesus. If you feel stuck, call on Jesus. If you need peace, strength, healing, or a new start, call on Jesus. You do not have to carry everything alone. Romans 10:13 says everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Today, give Jesus what hurts. Give Him what feels too hard. Give Him the places in your life that need healing and peace. Jesus Christ is our Healer. Jesus Christ is our Deliverer. There is still power in His name. Philippians 2:9-11 reminds us that God gave Jesus the name above every name.
Personal Reflection
I have learned that loss can leave a deep ache in the heart. When someone or something we love is gone, the pain may not disappear quickly. Some days may feel heavy, and some memories may bring tears. But even in loss, Jesus is near. He does not rush our grief or ignore our pain. He sits with us, comforts us, and slowly helps our hearts heal. Healing does not always mean we forget what happened. Sometimes healing means Jesus gives us strength to keep going, peace to breathe again, and hope to believe that joy can return.
Jesus shows us how to live. He is the Son of God, but He humbled Himself and came to earth as a man. He lived a simple life and suffered for us. He died on the cross, but God raised Him up and gave Him the highest place. The name of Jesus is full of authority and power. One day, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Because Jesus loved us so much, we should love Him, trust Him, and follow Him.
