I am a minister and an author who loves the Lord. My heart is to share the gospel with others and remind people that Jesus is still saving, healing, speaking, and strengthening His people today.
The Shield of Faith
Ephesians 6:16 tells us to take up the shield of faith. Faith is our protection. We must not allow fear, doubt, or unbelief to break through our shield. The enemy may send thoughts that try to weaken us, but our faith in God helps us stand strong.
The Word of God says, “Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes” (Ephesians 6:10–11). We are not standing in our own strength. We stand in the power of the Lord.
Let the Gospel Light Shine
Second Corinthians 4:3–12 reminds us that if the gospel is hidden, it is hidden to those who are lost. But God has caused His light to shine in our hearts. We do not preach ourselves. We preach Jesus Christ as Lord.
Even when we are pressed, troubled, or cast down, God keeps us. His treasure is in us, even though we are like jars of clay. This shows that the power belongs to God and not to us.
Jesus Came to Give Us Life
Jesus came so that we might have life. Through Him, we now have access to God. There is no longer separation for those who come to the Father through Jesus. We can pray, worship, repent, receive mercy, and walk with God because of what Jesus has done.
John 10:10 reminds us that the thief brings destruction, but Jesus, our Good Shepherd, came to give us abundant life. Through His sacrifice, we receive forgiveness, a restored relationship with God, and the promise of eternal life. This fullness is not measured by possessions or a life without trials, but by the hope and strength we find in Him. Let us hold firmly to our faith and walk each day trusting His loving care.
A Short Testimony
My testimony is simple: the Lord has been faithful to me. He has kept me, strengthened me, and given me a desire to tell others about His goodness. I am not perfect, but I serve a perfect Savior. Every day, I want my life and my words to point people back to Jesus.
God Is Still Speaking
Hebrews 12:25 tells us not to refuse Him who speaks. God is still speaking today in many ways. He speaks through His Word, by His Spirit, through prayer, through godly instruction, and through the witness of Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 12:26–28 speaks of a shaking. God allows shaking so that what cannot stand will be removed and what is unshakable will remain. When everything around us feels uncertain, we can hold on to the kingdom of God, which cannot be shaken.
Prayer
Lord, help us hold up the shield of faith. Strengthen us when fear, doubt, and unbelief try to come against us. Let the light of the gospel shine through us. Help us hear Your voice and stand firm in Your unshakable kingdom. In Jesus’ name, amen.
