Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6, NIV) The Bible makes this clear: Jesus is the way to the Father.
Believing in Jesus
Faith is more than knowing about Jesus. It means trusting Him with your life and letting His words guide you. God loves us and offers eternal life through His Son (John 3:16). Salvation is God’s gift, received through faith—not something we earn by being good (Ephesians 2:8–9).
Following His Teachings
Jesus asks us to put our faith into practice. He teaches us to love others, pray for those who hurt us, give generously, and forgive (Luke 6:27–37). In everyday life, this can mean helping a neighbor, sharing with someone in need, or choosing kind words instead of anger.
These actions do not buy God’s love. They show our response to it. Jesus connects love for Him with obeying His commands (John 14:15). Real faith shapes how we treat people.
Comfort for a Troubled Heart
When life feels heavy, Jesus invites us to trust Him. In John 14:1–3, He tells His followers not to let their hearts be troubled and promises to prepare a place for them in His Father’s house. Trouble is real, but it does not have to take away our hope.
Jesus is our mediator—the One who brings us to God (1 Timothy 2:5). We can turn to Him in prayer instead of trying to carry every burden alone.
As the Way, Jesus brings us to the Father. As the Truth, He shows us who God is. As the Life, He gives us hope that reaches beyond this world (John 14:6–9; John 3:16). His words and actions help us see the Father’s love.
Trust Jesus. Follow His words. Show His love. Faith is not just something we say; it is a daily choice to rely on Him. Whatever you are facing today, bring it to Jesus and take your next step with Him.
