“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” (Jeremiah 33:3)
Awaken your heart to hear the wonders of God. God longs to commune with His children. He longs to share His heart. He will speak to you wherever you are. I love that! The important thing is to posture your heart and position yourself to hear what He longs to speak to you. He has things that He has been waiting to share with you. He’s longing for you to hear His voice.
Deep calls to deep (Psalm 42:7). As I was learning to hear God’s voice and growing in the prophetic this verse has always resonated with me. My first encounter with hearing God’s was overwhelming. One day I was returning home from work and I heard in my spirit “come up here I have things I want to show you.” I was amazed.
The Father’s heart for you is to experience the fullness of His heart with nothing holding you back. Your spirit will begin to come alive as you open up to hear with expectation of what He will say to you. The Lord encourages us: “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life” (Isaiah 55:3).
Satan tries to put fear and doubt in your heart and mind to discourage you from hearing what the Spirit is saying. “Am I really hearing from God?” “Did I hear correctly.” “That can’t be God.”
One of my favorite verses is Isaiah 30:21 which says: “And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.” In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus quote a part of Deuteronomy 8:3: “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). Where does the Word come from. The “the mouth of God.” This is an ongoing process.
God’s Word is our daily bread. In Matthew 6:11 Jesus said: “Give us today our daily bread.” His Spirit speaks truth to our spirits when we walk with God in close relationship. Hearing God’s Word and acting upon it will change your life. God speaks differently to each one of us. You cannot hear God’s voice unless you listen for it. Hearing is one of our five senses that God desires to enhance spiritually. We are meant to grow in our ability to hear spiritually. To listen for His voice and comprehend what He is saying. This is a process. Ask the Lord to help you process what you are hearing.
Hearing God’s voice will change your outlook on life and yourself. Transforming you in ways you’ve never expected. Whether you are new or experienced at hearing God’s voice, I prophecy over you today that you will awaken to a new level in your hearing and comprehension of what He is saying. God is always speaking and my prayer is that you will incline your ear to hear what He wants to say to you.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
