The Word of Truth Heals

Jesus is our Healer!

I was sitting in on a healing school radio broadcast with Dr. Geren Gatling, Kingdom Seekers Ministry yesterday. Dr. Gatling was sharing with his listening audience about the power of God’s Word to heal.

As I was listening I also shared with the audience that when we do the word we received the benefits of the word.

On the way to Jerusalem Jesus was met by ten men who had leprosy. They cried out, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”

What happened? Jesus said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.” Only one came back, praising God. Jesus told him, Rise and go; your faith has made you well.” When these 10 men obeyed Jesus’ command to “go” they were healed as they went.  All of these men received the healing as they obeyed the Word of Truth.

“So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.”  Romans 10:17

The importance of believing and receiving the Word of Truth in faith and obediently doing what the Word says can’t be overstated.

James 1:22 says, “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”

In times of spiritual, emotional or physical pain, we can trust in and rely on healing scriptures to comfort our souls and guide us towards our healing.

LORD my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.” Psalm 30:2

“My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body.”  Proverbs 4:20-22

“Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.” Proverbs 3:8
