Evildoers are trapped by their sinful talk, and so the innocent escape trouble. From the fruit of their lips people are filled with good things,

and the work of their hands brings them reward. The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice. Proverbs 12:13-15

In our daily lives, when we produce what is good, we will receive just reward or compensation. When we produce inferior results, we cannot expect our reward to be great. The fruit of our lips or words we speak fills us with good things. Our daily efforts will bring great reward.

The Lord is the Giver of every good and perfect gift. There is no “variableness, neither shadow of turning” in Him. (James 1:17)

He anxious to give His children good things.

Fools entangle themselves in trouble by their folly, when God in justice leaves them to themselves. They are often snared by the foolishness of their lips because their way is right in their own eyes; they think they are right in every thing they do, and therefore asks no advice, because they do not think they need it.

What is it that keeps a wise person from being a fool; they are willing to seek wise counsel, listen to sound advice, appreciate those that are wise and good, and their ear is always open to valuable advice.
