This morning I woke up with a sense of great expectation from the Lord. I sensed an urgency in my spirit to record a three part blog post I shared on @goingbeyondchurch entitled The Church Awaking: Warnings We Dare Not Continue to Ignore after listening to a prophetic message entitled Prophetic Warnings by Patricia King last night. The original posts are available on my website afrancinegreen.com. Today I was looking back at my prophetic journal from 2008 and want to share a few of my prophet thoughts.
Prophet Thoughts from October 18, 2008
–Today’s church is in a slumber that will soon result in spiritual calamities for the simple reason that the people are not being warned or preparing for what is coming.
–Out of the midst of the slumbering church, God is raising up a group of people that are hungry for Him and seek to know Jesus like never before. This “Remnant” group of Christians are the set apart ones that are hearing the voice of God to prepare themselves and their families.
–It is the calling of this watchman to minister, train and encourage the remnant of God to be able to stand and endure whatever the days ahead may bring.
Wow! We are living in tumultuous times and must take heed to the warnings coming forth in this hour so that the church can align it’s purposes with the Lord!
II Chron. 36:15,16
” And the Lord God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place.
But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, till there was no remedy. ”
