God Is Sovereign Over All Things Pt. 2

Signs of the End Times

I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’ ” Isaiah 46:10 NIV

Set Free From The Law of Sin and Death.

For more than ten years the Holy Spirit has led me on a prophetic journey. In this politically charged climate it is imperative that we understand what is needed to live a victorious life in Christ.  The Bible says that in this world we would be persecuted for righteousness sake. (Matt. 5:10)

We’ve all had watershed moments in life; a critical turning point where,  from that moment things change, nothing will be the same. I’ve had a few of them during my lifetime.  The most difficult and challenging moment has been the loss of my beloved oldest son.  Nothing could have prepared me for that moment, but God in His infinite wisdom and mercy guided me through a Word I received by the Holy Spirit. I will never forget that day when the Holy Spirit revealed to me through a book I had purchased several years ago not to “get stuck in grief”. What I realized at that moment was that my roots had to go deeper in Him. The had already revealed that He was going to bring my son home. Revealing something to me that was so big, so important. Revealing to me the awesomeness of Christ death on the cross, and His power to save.  Christ has risen from the dead, conquered death, and  because He lives, we who know Him shall live also with Him in eternity. Jesus Christ conquered sin and death and is alive forevermore. Truly I was more in awe of Him then ever before.  For this reason and many others I choose to glorify His name above all names!

Watershed moment: watershed moment is a turning point, the exact moment that changes the direction of an activity or situation. A watershed moment is a dividing point, from which things will never be the same. It is considered momentous, though a watershed moment is often recognized in hindsight.

Death carries with it a certain dread. The Bible always links sin and death. It says “the sting of death is sin” (1 Corinthians 15:56) and “through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned” (Romans 5:12).

Death is no respecter of persons, race, color, creed or age. Christ has set us free from the law of sin and death. “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. (Romans 8:1-4).

I believe we are living in a watershed moment when God will step into the affairs of men. He is holy, righteous and just. The all-sovereign, all-wise, all-knowing God whose love knows no bounds. God is so much bigger than what our finite minds can understand. He is majestic and holy, infinite in power, wisdom, knowledge, and holiness evidenced by His mighty works. He desires to reveal Himself to us. God has always been in the world reconciling it to Himself. He has never been absent from it or what is taking place in history. Throughout the Bible we read of the redemptive activity of God in the world.

…that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

We choose to glorify the name above all names!

May God speak to you mightily through this series of messages
