“After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.” (Revelation 4:1 KJV)
I remember the very first time I heard the Lord say “come up here, and I swill show you great and mighty you do not know. It wasn’t an audible voice, but I knew in my spirit because of my love for His Word that He was calling me to come up higher. Since that time I’ve experienced the call to come up higher. God has deposited His Holy Spirit in us, and by Him, we are given the ability to see and heard things through spiritual eyes and ears that cannot be seen through the filters of our natural understanding.
Holy Spirit desires to unlock the lenses of our spiritual eyes so that we can see and know things from Heaven’s perspective, and things always look a whole lot different when you see them through the eyes of “faith in God”! As the children of God by the empowerment of Holy Spirit we able to see beyond the natural realm.
