Sometimes I find myself wondering, “What has happened to the Christian faith?” I look around and see so much confusion, so many mixed messages, and so many people using God’s name while not really knowing His heart.
But then the Holy Spirit gently reminds me of something important: many of God’s people simply do not know His Word, and because they do not know His Word, they do not always understand His ways.
That reminder comforts me, because it helps me respond with compassion instead of frustration. It reminds me that people do not need more arguments, more opinions, or more religious noise. They need the truth of the gospel. They need to know who Jesus really is, what He has done, and how deeply God desires to bring people back to Himself.
At the same time, that reminder stirs something in me. It pushes me to be more faithful, more diligent, and more willing to share the true gospel message plainly and lovingly. Whether through writing, podcasting, or simple conversations, I want to point people back to God’s Word and God’s ways.
This is not about trying to sound deep or prove a point. It is about helping people see the light of Christ clearly. It is about reminding believers that the Bible is not outdated, confusing, or optional. It is the truth that teaches us, corrects us, strengthens us, and leads us closer to the heart of God.
So when I wonder what happened to the faith, I am reminded that the work is not finished. There are still people to reach, hearts to encourage, and truth to share. And by God’s grace, I will keep writing, keep speaking, and keep pointing people to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
