In today’s noisy world, it can be hard to hear the truth.
Everywhere we turn, there are voices competing for our attention—opinions, news, trends, arguments, and distractions. With so much noise around us, many people are searching for something real, something steady, and something true.
That is why Romans 10:14 is so important: “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?”
Paul is asking a simple but powerful question: how will people know the good news if no one tells them?
People cannot believe in a message they have never heard. They cannot call on a Savior they do not know. And they cannot know unless someone is willing to speak up and share the truth in love.
This does not mean every believer has to stand behind a pulpit. Preaching is not only about a microphone, a stage, or a title. Sometimes it looks like a conversation with a friend. Sometimes it is a kind word, a testimony, a prayer, or simply pointing someone back to Jesus when life feels confusing.
God often uses ordinary people to carry an extraordinary message.
In a world full of noise, our voices still matter. When we speak truth with humility, patience, and love, we help someone hear what they may have been missing. We may not be able to control all the noise around us, but we can choose to be a clear voice for hope.
So do not underestimate your witness. Your words may be the reminder someone needs. Your story may help someone see God’s goodness. Your courage to speak may help someone hear the truth above the noise.
The gospel was never meant to stay silent. It was meant to be shared—clearly, lovingly, and boldly.
Today, ask yourself: Who needs to hear the hope of Jesus through my life, my words, or my love?
Because in a noisy world, truth still needs a voice.
