Day 1: A Broken Relationship
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20
To be reconciled to God means a broken relationship can be made whole again.
Sin creates distance—it pulls us away and leaves us feeling disconnected. But God never intended for us to stay far from Him. “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”
Reflection: Where have you felt distant from God lately?

Day 2: God Made the First Move
“From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.” Acts 17-26-27
Even when we were far away, God was already working to bring us back.
Through Jesus, God opened the way for forgiveness, peace, and restoration. You are not chasing God—He is calling you.
Reflection: How does it change your perspective to know God came after you first?
—
Day 3: A Gift, Not Something Earned
“For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!” Romans 5:10
Reconciliation is not something you earn—it’s a gift.
You don’t have to fix yourself before coming to God. His grace meets you where you are.
Reflection: Are you trying to earn what God is offering freely?
—
Day 4: Jesus Is the Bridge
“For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.” 1 Timothy 2:5 (The word “mediator” expresses the idea of a go-between or bridge connecting two sides)
Jesus is the one who brings us back to God.
Through Him, we are no longer defined by our past. Instead of rejection, we receive mercy. Instead of distance, we are welcomed home.
Reflection: What would it look like to fully accept God’s mercy?
—
Day 5: Turning Back to God
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
Reconciliation invites a response.
We turn back to God with humility, choosing His way over our own. This is repentance—a new direction, not just regret.
Reflection: What is one area of your life God is calling you to turn over to Him?
—
Day 6: A New Heart, A New Life
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:26
When you come back to God, He changes you from the inside out.
He gives you a new heart, new desires, and a new direction. You are not just improved—you are made new.
Reflection: What changes have you begun to notice in your life with God?
—
Day 7: A Message to Share
“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:18-19
God restores us—and then gives us a purpose.
We become messengers of reconciliation, showing others that they too can come back to God. Your story can point someone else toward hope.
Reflection: Who might need to hear this message from you?
