“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (1 Peter 2:9).
God is transitioning the Church into a new spiritual dimension. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood… Portals (doors) are opening. Jesus died for the church. His Bride that she may be spotless at His coming (Ephesians 5:27). The Church is special, a chosen generation, a royal priest, a peculiar people. Peculiar comes from Latin peculiaris, an adjective meaning “privately owned” or “special” that is derived from the word for “property,” peculium.
In all of creation God has never made anything like you. He knew each one of us before the foundation of the earth. He actually knew us before He made us. You are God’s property (1 John 4:4) fearfully and wonderfully made by the Creator. King David knew this very well (Psalm 139:14).
Your identity is hidden in Christ! (Colossians 3:3 ). You’re special and unique! You’re breathtaking!You have distinctive qualities and extraordinary abilities and gifts. You possess qualities that distinguish you from the world!
God is madly in love with you. You matter a great deal to His eternal plans and purposes. This is your time to discover who you are in Christ and recover your birthright. Your past shortcomings cannot rob you of God’s blessings. Repentance is key!
