And to be transformed as you embrace the glorious Christ-within as your new life and live in union with him! For God has re-created you all over again in his perfect righteousness, and you now belong to him in the realm of true holiness.” Ephesians 4:24 (TPT)

In a world where  people have become confused about their identity or in some cases choosing to self-identify, it is imperative that we, as believers, know who we are and whose we are.

When God says through one of His chosen vessels “you are” as in “you are a new creation” or “you are a royal priesthood,” do you fully understand what that means as citizens of a new kingdom? Do you know and understand your true identity as a child of the King of Kings — heirs to the eternal Kingdom of God?

The term “be” is used to indicate the identity of a person or thing — used to describe the qualities of a person or thing — used to indicate the condition of a person or thing. [1]

Throughout Scriptures, God uses His anointed vessels to reveal our new identity in Christ as believers of a New Covenant through Christ’s ultimate act of redemption.

I believe the Holy Spirit wants to give—thrust true believers into authentic faith and power. This may prove to be a life-changing experience for you. Our lives should be a representation of who we truly are in Christ. Satan hopes the Church never discovers the reality of what it means to be Kingdom citizens living here on earth.

As believers, we have become “a new creation“,  “a child of God“, “member of Christ’s Body“, “sheep in God’s flock“, “a royal priesthood“, “a stone in God’s building“, and  “a soldier in God’s army.”

Having set us apart from the world, Christ called us; and He transferred His righteousness to everyone He called. Romans 8:30 (TPT) says, “Having determined our destiny ahead of time, he called us to himself and transferred his perfect righteousness to everyone he called. And those who possess his perfect righteousness he co-glorified with his Son!”

As we learn to live out of our position in Christ we will bring forth the greatest exploits of all time. If you desire to go beyond the status quo, beyond a lifestyle of comfort that many seek, your faith must arise beyond the norm into a lifestyle that accurately reflects the Kingdom of God on earth.

May the grace, joy, and peace of God be yours through Jesus Christ our loving Lord. To Him be glory, now and forever.

Blessings,

Dr. A
