Be Transformed

“Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your [spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans 12:1-2)

Paul urges those who read and hear his letter to respond to the good news by offering their bodies—eyes, ears, mouths, hands, feet—to God as a “living sacrifice.” Christ’s sacrifice on the cross makes it possible for those who trust in Him to become a sacrifice and live for God’s Kingdom. But how do we live? We do not live as before, wrapping ourselves in the world and its bankrupt values. We live in constant renewal and transformation of our minds.

The Church as most Americans know it cannot be a viable means to reform our society in its present state. However, she can become an effective catalyst for world transformation through the demonstration of both power and love, rather than let the devil steal our future.

God has given us the greatest opportunity ever to bring in His Kingdom with power and love, integrity and victory. To do so we must shake off that which hinders, and run the race for God.

As a Believer, you must be mindful not to allow this world to mold you in its own image. Instead, be transformed from the inside out by renewing your mind. As a result, you will be able to discern what God will is and whatever God finds good, pleasing, and complete.

It is my hope in these brief messages to express the heart of God for the Church in these last days. And to encourage every Believer to be renewed and transformed in their understanding of God’s desire for His Church to fulfill the… and see a practical manifestation of the Kingdom on earth. When we discover Gods heart it transforms and shapes our attitude, focus and priorities more than any other.
