Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize.eep running your race! So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified (1 Corinthians 9:24-27).

There will be many things that tries to distract you in life, discourage you, depress you, but be strong and courageous. There are things that will tear you down if you allow it. Be determined and confident that you can make it to the other side. Don’t be afraid or discouraged for the Lord is with you. He will never leave you or forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:8).

Don’t get sidetracked by what you see and hear. The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration by God and shows us how to get back on track when we veer off the path. The Word of God is good for reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. There is no success without the Word of God! (Joshua 1:9)

2 Timothy says, “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right” (2 Timothy 3:16)

Strip off every weight that slows you down, especially the sin that hinders your progress. Never stop or quit running the race God has set before you. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Your faith depends on Hm from start to finish (Hebrews 12:2).

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

Keep running your race!
