Tis the Season of Blessing!

TistheSeason-1

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder. And his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)

Our Heavenly Father controls the times and seasons. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 declares that everything has a season. Nothing remains forever, whether good or bad. It comes…to pass. Because God commands our answered prayers to be delivered to us in due season, and we’re fully aware that He controls those seasons. Our hearts should be resting in His faithful love and care, and all our anxieties dismissed from our thoughts. ‘Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)

Timing is everything.”

God is Sovereign over the Universe.  There are no limits to God’s rule. This is part of what it means to be God. He is sovereign over the whole world, and everything that happens in it. He is never helpless, never frustrated, never at a loss. And in Christ, God’s awesome, sovereign providence is the place we feel most reverent, most secure, most free. He is in full control of everything, even the seasons of our blessings.

Who Is Like the Lord Our God?

Psalm 113 4-6 says, “The Lord is high above all nations, and His glory above the heavens.  Who is like the Lord our God, who dwells on high, who looks down on the things  that are in heaven and on the earth?

We can rest in God’s Sovereignty.  In Psalm 103, David praises God for His blessings and compassion as a loving and forgiving father for his children (vs. 1-18). “The LORD has established His throne in the heavens; And His sovereignty rules over all” (vs. 19 KJV)

The season is changing, and God is going to bring you encouragement. I believe, we can expect an amazing change this Christmas season. A change of season that will bring new fruit into your life from the Holy Spirit. Expect to see blessings start flowing your way.

Jesus is the Light of the World!

Have a Blessed Holiday!
